Yeah I figured out how to do an external transfer for my bank. It takes a couple days though. I found this process a lot more confusing that Coinbase.

I bought the same amount of LINK and FILE in February.

My Link's up 30% and Filecoin is up 1000%.

It's not that I'm not bullish, 30% is great! it just got overshadowed...

I mean, ATH is kinda wonky in crypto because it usually is just a wacky algorithm-fueled buying spiral that slams back down quickly. I don't think that really indicates any kind of meaningful price or institutional support at that level.

I see Link as undergoing healthy growth.

If my $500 ever becomes $5 million then I'll take a different approach. It's not like I have much concern that I'll ever become accidentally successful.

...and filecoin just made that even more obvious. Down 40% in 30 minutes. Easy come easy go I guess...

I agree but would argue that it's recent volatility is less algorithmic buying/selling of LINK and has more to do with it being coupled to the value of BTC.

differences between FIL and Storj: Filecoin does not encrypt by default, Storj does. Filecoin stores the full file on the single node, Storj breaks it up into pieces (think bittorrent in reverse) and stores them across multiple nodes.

Storj Pricing is static at half single region AWS (with global availability) and can pay in fiat (Important for enterprise today). Filecoin is dynamic per contract and payment only in crypto.

And STORJ mining is easy entry too. Pays based on three things:

The total bandwidth you serve out (aka your own upload per month)
The amount of repair bandwidth you send (it pays you extra, every miner has a certain amount withheld for the first year to cover it)
The total amount of storage space used on your drive each month

I'm a fan of the protocol. Looks to operate well - you can check out their website and get served video from the STORJ network.

If you hate robinhood due to the GME fiasco I recommend Uphold, Voyager, or Kraken for getting Doge. One of those took damn forever though.

Nope. ETH will have a good run this year but long term is another animal. I don't understand nor agree with maximalist. Buy both and increase your favorite but don't limit oneself.

Too many issues to be corrected while competitors have fixed or are solving them now.
ETH will always have a market but imo this summer it will fall behind a few others.

Gas fees will worked out first...just not soon...
Interoperability and scalability will be their long term anchor.
