That's what I was thinking too. I'm a big believer in the Charles/IOHK vision as well. But if someone speaks up to the contrary, I'd love to hear them elaborate with something substantive. Always possible that I'm missing something.

You and Prog seem to have almost a religious fanaticism towards ADA and I'm afraid it's given you blinders to other points of view on the project. For instance, I've owned a few thousand coins for about a year now, because I think the roadmap is interesting, but I believe it's a coin flip that it's still here in 3-5 years. It doesn't have to be a with us or against us/you're an ETH fanboy situation.

Thanks for clarification. I don't have blinders on but I do have somewhat a religious fondness of Cardano. Why? I believe in their vision to make the world a better place for all using technology.
I believe in the process of doing something correctly from the onset and making it a priority. I believe in planning for the expected and the unexpected which holds close to my favorite saying ; chance favors the prepared mind. Imo, Charles has taken the more scientific approach with a more sustainable business model. First ro market is huge but like I was told in an Industrial Distribution class "be first, be better, or be less expensive". Imo, Cardano will be better and less expensive which should supercede the network effect of first mover. We shall see.

Mine was a small order, so no big deal. The majority of my large orders recently were at $1.30 to $1.70.

For how red today is overall, I didn't have as bad of a day as it could have been. NMR going up to $95 saved me. I was not expecting that one. Sold out of my position and going to move it to GRT to lower my cost average. Bullish GRT assuming the entire market doesn't go to crap.
