During this downturn ETFs or individual stocks

How long do you want to ignore this user?
Looking to take advantage of this downturn. Would you suggest ETFs or individual stocks from companies such as CRM, AMZN, DIS, MSFT for quick return and then switching over to ETFs for long term?

I wouldn't touch Disney, they are entertainment and hospitality, I'd avoid any stock in that sector.

I'd look at tech sector ETFs and some tech stocks that aren't as affected like MSFT during the rebound.

I'd look at enterprise software companies like Adobe, Autodesk, or IT companies. They won't be as impacted by the drops in consumer spending and I think will rebound better than the market. Also I may look at health sector stocks or ETF.

I do sector ETFs because it's too hard for me to understand some of the nuances of how a single company might be exposed to risk.

I sold my ETFs to start scaling into great companies which have been beaten down. ETFs have the bad with the good. Why not do the homework and just buy the good? Individual stocks unless it's a 401k.
