Always shop around if you feel a fee isn't in line with expectations. I'm not a financial professional (I'm a lawyer), but I have had potential clients that go other routes due to costs. That said, I do try to work with people on fees if warranted.
I will definitely be shopping around. I just figured there were some other parents on this board currently going thought this or had recently that could point me in the right direct to prevent me from have to pay someone else to file my daughters return.

Anyone have an update on this with the new tax laws. My 9 year old son sold his swine project for $2075 and we have over $2600 in expenses. Do we need to file a return for him or do we somehow file this as a part of our return? Thanks.
