Hello. I've accepted a job in Savannah GA and don't know much about the town. Any Ags live there that can give some insight. Places to live, areas to watch out for, etc. Thanks.

I live across the river in Carolina. Savannah is a great town, but has some rough areas. Unfortunately, I'm not familiar with the neighborhoods, but downtown is awesome. Welcome to the Lowcountry, it's fantastic.

I don't believe there is an A&M Club in Savannah, but there was a Muster at Ft Stewart a couple of years ago.

I love to visit Savannah, but it's been a while. Don't know much except River Street. If you like to party, be sure to hit Wet Willie's on a Saturday night. Have taken a couple of historic tours. There's lots I've not seen in 3 or 4 visits.

I'm five hours away in Athens (well, for another week and a half anyway), and got the postcard for the Savannah Muster this year. I don't remember which club sent it, though (and don't see Savannah listed on the AggieNetwork website). I also met a few Savannah Aggies who made the drive to Atlanta for the SEC Reception Party last summer.

You could search the AFS directory. More than 70 Aggies have an address in Savannah.
