Anyone have hood buy/sell groups for kids outdoor stuff? Looking for a 20" wheel bike for my daughter and sell some of her old stuff (Bob stroller, Osprey kid carrier). I've been looking on Nextdoor and haven't found much and Facebook marketplace has been a little sketchy on a few people I've talked to.

Not sure where you live but there are multiple buy/sell fb groups on marketplace for Parker with thousands or even tens of thousands of members.

Everything I've sold of our kids old stuff I've never had a problem.
Certainly can't try and get rich; I have the mentality if I want it gone then just price it to sell.

I did just get $150 for a Batman lower wheel dune racer the other week. It was 3-4 years old too.

But lots of $10-$20 stuff.

Thanks, I'll have to look more (I'm in Littleton/Ken Caryl). I don't get on Facebook a lot but put a few things up and just loads of scammers, but maybe it'll be better in a group.

yeh my listings go to the entire fb marketplace world, but I feel most buyers are part of one of the groups, or at least they live in Parker or nearby.

I also will join (just for the sake of being able to list an item) more specialized groups for certain things, like outdoor or camping gear, Home brewing gear, musical instruments and live gear, etc.

These are mostly denver groups, not just Parker, but you're getting your stuff in front a lot more eyes of likely buyers, if that makes sense.

Heading out to Fiddler's Green this evening for Uncle Kracker, ZZ Top and Lynyrd Skynyd. Anyone else going? It will be my first time to check out that venue. Pretty pumped about ZZ Top. I've been a fan for a long time but all my attempts to see them were sold out or I found out too late.

Back in April I bought a family pack of tickets to Monday nights game against the Braves. Looks like I paid $80 for the four tickets, B lot parking, plus they come with $40 of food/drink credit. We've got some kids stuff that has come up, and possibly can't go. Willing to let go for $50. Section 147 Row 13, seats 1-4.

Anyone have a roofer they would recommend? Would be a non insurance replacement.

About time something is done about this.
I use a toll/hov maybe once or twice a month, and every time some bonehead decides he doesn't want to sit in traffic while the toll payers are flying by and he cuts in I've had a few close calls.
Then they'll pop out before the tolling spot like a cheap ass.

Listening to 104.3 when they picked up Lutz, everyone called it a mistake. Not a good look that they lost by an XP today. Hopefully they can have a good year.

Despite today's loss I'm still mildly optimistic about this season.

I agree I feel more often than not the week leading up to Halloween is always mild in the 50s in the evenings, then low and behold cold front comes in on the 29th and it's 30.

I think Lakewood received about 5". I am so stupidly happy to see snow so soon this year. Thoughts and prayers for tree branches though.

We may have received 3" max up here in Erie. Was nice that I didn't have to shovel. Enough to let the girls sled a bit.

This is ~3 weeks later than the average first snow.

This is only my second year here. Last tear the snow didnt fall until Thanksgiving!

Dang I don't remember that. I feel like every year it seems too early, except for the recent year where it was after new years; which was waaaaay past the norm.

We've had some Labor Day weekend snows since I've been here. That blows. Way too early.

If it's going to be cold, bring the snow.

Underrated post

I've been getting ads on Facebook regarding JSX, which flies out of Broomfield. Any of you guys flown them before?

We flew to Vegas on JSX and I highly recommend it. We arrived 30 minutes before boarding and had plenty of time to grab breakfast and relax. Check-in was a breeze and security was friendly. The jet wasn't the fanciest, but it was spacious and clean. We'll be flying JSX every opportunity we can over a regular commercial flight.

what is the premium?
The first price I checked was to vegas lol, cheapest I found was about $800 RT.

Not too crazy expensive, especially if your paying individually.
Pretty pricey for a family though.

So it's still regular scheduled commercial service, just a small(er) plane?
Why is so quick in and out, does it have more to do with the fact it's a tiny airport? They still have to follow all the regulations of typical flight don't they? (which is different then private where there is no security and can leave when they want, etc)

It was well into the $3s just a week or two ago.

I was surprised gas was "only" $2.35 at Costco Sunday!!
