They were purchased by park n fly last year, so I'd assume they're good for now.
Park 2 Fly was full when I tried to reserve for my recent trip, and The Spot wanted $20 / day. I'm trying the RTD park n ride right by the airport. It's two rail stops away from the airport, and only $2 / day for locals. Security isn't as good as other areas, so we'll see what's left of my car when I come back.

Don't forget, taking the rail is $20 round trip per person (6-19 is half price), even from that stop 2 stops away. (Airport is a flat rate no matter where you come from)

That makes it pretty cost prohibitive for a family. Only worth it if the trip is quite long and 1 person really.

Hard to beat parkdia / parknfly $4/day.

Oh yeah, good point. I paid $3 for a local ticket and was scolded on the train. If you plan well enough in advance, ParkDIA is the better method for a family.

We're down in Houston right now but lots of folks in our neighborhood freaking out about the fires that started today. Hopefully all y'all are ok.

It%92s about 1 mile or so from the neighborhood right now. Hoping 287 provides enough barrier.

The smoke plume was so scary. It overwhelmed the view that direction from Evergreen. I hope everybody is safe and sound. News is reporting at least 600 homes gone, and lots of retail and government buildings.

Winds seemed to have died down at 8pm so looks like we're in the clear. Lots of people not so lucky though. Crazy to think that over 500 homes have been destroyed and thousands others still evacuated.

that is crazy.. most forest fires are in desolate areas, so you're talking maybe a few dozen homes.

600 seems like that is unheard of.

Man it's gonna be a fiery year if we don't start getting some water.

Luckily insurance payouts for fire are better than floods, but don't think we have the infrastructure for the temporary housing of the families. It's going to be crazy. New home construction can't even keep up with it.

Mountains are at average snowpack or a bit higher now, great storm. But front range is dry.
If anyone needs help email me aggieathleteinvolved@gmail.com. We were flooded in Harvey and bolted here so know what you are going through. In Highlands Ranch.

Don't think you can embed Facebook posts but the link is below. Post from the Denver A&M club. Two aggies, Savannah and Stephen, lost their home in the Marshall fire, they're expecting in mid January

We're about 30 minutes outside of Denver in Evergreen. We got about 10.5" and one dog LOVES it, and the other peed on the patio!

7" in Arvada. It's dang cold out right now! Roads are still nasty but the Trooper with BFG T/A K02s is handling it like a champ. Wanted to hit the slopes today but -17 wind chill said otherwise. I'll give it a go tomorrow though.

Where are you skiing?

Asking because I'm planning on going to Keystone Monday and am curious on how the roads will be.

We are staying at the Gaylord but my driveway cam looks about 2-3" in Parker. Here at hotel it's maybe 1-2".

I had frozen hair sitting in the hot tub outside last night lol.

Got home after driving back from Texas. Roads were pretty gnarly in stretches. Some folks just don't slow down. A lot of crashes out there. Got home and had to shovel about 5-6". Nose hairs were freezing at 1F. Off to bed now.

Finally getting a ski day in. I got an email regarding my epic school kids pass and had no idea they get one free lesson, so I signed them up for breck on 1/23. Hoping for good weather!

i didn't realize they got the free lesson. they did away with that last year for COVID and I guess I assumed they didn't do it again. I need to look it up!

only one lesson per kid, not per mountain.
Supposed to be first timer; I don't know how they'd know as long as your child is obviously still a beginner.
Keystone was full except weekdays. I was surprised breck had an open weekend.

Lesson includes rental, helmet and lunch too. Heck of a deal this epic school kids.
I was telling my bro about it (he's in Sacramento) and he got excited to look into it for CA/Tahoe.. not surprisingly a big nope. CO, UT and whistler is it.

We moved to Denver in December and we're absolutely loving it. Got a place in Capital Hill…… giving the urban lifestyle a go to see if it clicks. So far so good. Husband is flying for United and I've started the job search now that we're settled. Hoping the search doesn't take long. Anyway, glad to be here.

I spent 9 years in the Army as an Armor officer. Got out a few years ago and got into sales with a company that handled maintenance management platforms for industrial firms. Was very good at it but sales was not really to my liking.

Hoping to get into the operations side of things with a manufacturing, shipping, or production outfit.

Welcome to Denver! I was an enlisted tanker for 4 years back in the day before college.

I'm thinking of getting into something else too after two and a half years as a route sales rep/delivery driver.

Arctic Express this week. Just got back from the Avs game and it's coming down hard. 4" so far in Arvada and I'm looking forward to a nice snowy morning working from home.
