Jirdon is formulated in CO I'm pretty sure made just for our grasses. 4 times a year plus ironite or similar to get real green. Aerate spring and fall just before fertilizing. I rent my own machine and get some neighbors to chip in, ends up being $5-$10.

I'm aerating and fertilizing next week.

Sprinklers on later the better, it makes the grass dig deeper for water. Usually closer to Memorial Day if not after.

I've heard general rule is never before Mother's Day (flowers, sprinklers, etc) because the risk of a big snow and freeze before Mother's Day is relatively high.

We had an 8" dump on May 21 or so last year. So I always just try and wait until June, but obviously if it's really dry in may you gotta adjust.

Saw them for a few seconds up near 285 and Wads. They were supposed to make a second pass right over us but they cut that loop off. Guessing since they were running late. Didn't hear them though.

Yeh we drove from house in Parker to rtd ridgegate to see. They ended up flying east of the flight path so we could have just stayed home and seen them. But yeh they flew over below the clouds so we were able to see them... was pretty quick. Probably 200 cars in that rtd parking lot... so it was a cluster.

Meh, it's a mask. If it helps things open faster I'm on board. I have just been wearing a neck gaiter over my mouth and nose the last month when going to King Soopers and it's fine. Boulder Running Co (all over the metro) have them in stock.

I do t wear one when outside running or walking with the family but it's easy to avoid people too.

Jeffco county sheriff came out and said he legally can't enforce any of the orders because their unconstitutional. Said they are recommended but unenforceable.

To be fair, I don't even know who the Jeffco Sheriff is. He/She could really be a constitutional scholar. That would be a fun second career.
