What type of job are you looking for and would you be willing to do a contractor type position that could lead to a full time position?

So you have a better understanding of me as a person. After i graduated from A&M I really loved everything about the fire service and still do. I loved the strong relationships at work and building relationships with the community, it's an awesome job! However, I didn't see it being able to provide for my future family what I was so blessed to be given by mine. Such as tuition to A&M. So I am making a career change. I want a position that is challenging and one that involves a company who shares a common goal. I am looking at either a sales position (bc of the relationships involved) or an analyst position (I love numbers, it's the nerd in me) currently. Though I am open to all opportunities. I have had success learning everything from economics to fire to para medicine. So like I said I really don't have tunnel vision just yet.

And to answer your question yes, it would be a big move on my part for a temporary/contract position but if the salary allowed me to pay by bills, I would be confident enough in my skill set to take the position.

Aug 8th (day): ?
Aug 8th (night): Red Rocks
Aug 9th: back to Houston (meh)

Any recommendations on what else to do/check out?
This trip will decide if it's time to leave Houston and move to Denver!

Schall speaks the truth. What's crazy is that my 1st trip to Denver was early August 2007. I was sold right away. It was in the 70s or low-mid 80s for most of the day & 50s and 60s at night. No humidity or bugs. It felt amazing, especially compared to Texas. Then I went to Breckenridge for a day trip & it was in the 60s during the day.

I actually started looking for an IT or Geoscience gig in Denver. I'm a December '12 Mays graduate with a BBA in MIS (Management Information Systems). Houston has treated me well but it's time for a change. This city is also the worst for mountain biking!

I would appreciate any job leads or contacts! My resume is ready to go.
