Working in Orlando for a few more days then meeting my kids age 16(m) and 19(f) in Miami for four or five days with time on the keys as well.

Any ideas??

We have jet skiing and Everglades Swamp boat along with a couple of places to eat they want to do. We will hit the beach in Miami for sure as both kids have it on their lists

They aren't interested in Dry Tortugas NP so I will save that for another time for me.

Any thoughts. Also driving back from Florida to Texas and going to beach in Destin and stopping in NOLA for a night as well

But mainly looking for things in south Florida but any other suggestions on way back are great as well

Haven't done Miami with kids, but it's a very fun city. Cool vibes, great food. Excellent high end shopping if you like that sort of thing.

I recommend Cafe La Trova in little Havana. Excellent cocktails and food, and live music at night. Great start to your stay in the city.

Also, for higher end dining, we had a fantastic meal at Stubborn Seed in Miami Beach (1 Michelin star)

Also, great pizza at the Miami outpost of Lucali.

Also get a Cuban sandwich at Sangwich with some fries and a banana milkshake.

Sandbar/Snorkling trip out of Islamorada. Should be great for those ages. We had a lot of fun. The sandbar was really cool. Not at all what I was expecting. And the snorkeling was great around the old lighthouse.

Just got back from Key West last night. Sargassum was so bad you could smell it in our hotel room.

Thanks for responses. Looking for some indoor as well as outdoor stuff in Miami. One kid loves outdoor one is more indoor oriented.

Both will like the beaches but one not the whole time

Thinking of jet skiing at Ft Lauderdale beach area before headed down to Miami. Any recs ??

Also the kids are down for sandbar/snorkeling and paddleboard at Islamorada
