Place looks super nice. I'd love to do a fall beach trip this year. Probably a dumb question…does the house have fishing equipment or is it BYO rods?

I have a couple of rods and some basic gear…nothing super nice as they tend to "walk" away

The complex has private access to the beach. See the picture below. The black arrow shows approximately where the entrance is. It's about 50 yard walk from our stairs to the sand. The bay (lagoon) on the other side is about 100 yard walk from our stairs. Hope this helps.

As far as dining options, we are about 1 mile from the closest restaurant (The Beach Club) and a small grocery store/liquor store, and a great ice cream parlor. Drive another mile and you are at the main crossroads in Gulf Shores with literally dozens of restaurants, shops, etc…. If you want specific recommendations, I can provide them to you if you tell me your food preferences.
