We attend a week-long conference in Vegas every year and always host a dinner for our employees one of the nights. I'm trying to plan this year and I'm kind of burned out on the regular rotation of restaurants. Actually burned out on Vegas in general, so I'm really uninspired and looking for suggestions. We'll have a group of 12 and I would love to keep it under $150 per person. Places we've done in the past:

Tao
Beauty & Essex
Superfrico
Delmonico's
STK
Jaleo
Zuma
Lavo

Open to suggestions in any location. We obviously haven't branched out much from Venetian/Palazzo (where the conference is) and Cosmopolitan (where we stay), but it would be nice to get away from the conference crowd a bit.

Obviously lots of options and can't really go wrong. But I would offer a few below. All pretty close to Cosmo and I think fall in your budget. Admittedly I have never done big group dining in Vegas though so not sure about that at each site.

Din Tai Fung
Catch
Best Friend

If you want to get away and off strip:
Herbs and Rye
Esther's
Bazaar Meat (might be over the budget)

Barry's Prime Steakhouse in Circa
Oscars at Plaza

You could take a trip down to Circa and eat at Barry's. Fremont could be a nice change up if people haven't experienced it yet and is a totally different vibe compared to the strip.

Jaleo was excellent and very big group friendly as far as sharing tapas. Highly recommend.

Been staying at the Aria since it opened, and this is a staple for us now. Javier's and Jean G's are both really awesome, but Din Tai is a must. We were in Vegas for Dec 16-20 and ate Din Tai twice.

They aren't required, but the line to walk in can get really long sometimes. If you are able to plan ahead, it is much safer to get a reservation.

It depends on the day of the week. If you are trying Friday/Saturday night I would make reservations. During the week, I have been able to get in with a few minute wait.

Din Tai Fung is a great place and should be right in your wheelhouse.

We were there early last month with 2 other couples. All the couples ordered something different and we all shared. I think it came out to under 90 per couple and that was with a drink or two, before tip of course. We all walked away satisfied.

Thanks, y'all! I have us booked for Din Tai Fung. Looking forward to it. Also going to try some of the other recommendations here for our other meals while we're there.

1. On the healthy side, order the garlic string beans. One order is good for 4, although they are so good you might want them all.

2. If you like chocolate, there are two options. The chocolate long bao for a smaller bite (6 pieces to an order), or the chocolate buns (2 to n order). They are like very rich, gooey lava cakes in dumpling form. If you just want a bite, get the lon bao, if you need to get rid of excess insulin, go with the bun.

Xiao Long Bao. Soup dumplings. The best!
