We were invited to join a grad trip that is booking this resort for June 2025. I have typically stayed away from all inclusives so wanted to see if anyone has any feedback on this resort as it is not somewhere my family would normally consider travelling. Specifically looking for quality of beach, sargassum expectations, and if resort is good fit for graduating high school seniors / families.

Iberostar is a mid-level resort, not high-end. However, if it is Selection Paraiso Maya, then is the highest level of those in the complex. It will have access to the waterpark and some other amenities.

Star class rooms will have a few more amenities.

The beach should be pretty decent. It is south of the airport, so it will be more likely to have sargassum.
