My daughter needs to fly tomorrow from Dallas to San Antonio but she accidentally left her Drivers License back in San Antonio when we drove up.

What do you need for TSA to let you fly in this case? We were told to just get there an extra hour earlier. Has anybody else had to do this? Any advice would be appreciated.

If it were any other day I'd have it shipped to us in Dallas on Southwest Airlines Air Cargo today but they're closed today.

She will go through enhanced security screen to verify her ID.

I've done it. I lost my license in security in DFW and got on my flight. When I got to the airport to return, I was so nervous, but basically they just looked at credit cards and I think maybe I had an expired license or something and they kinda laughed and just said that I was fine to go. It wasnt a big deal. They had to call a manager or something to approve it, but it delayed me maybe ten minutes at most.
This was in the nashville airport.

Left my DL at DFW TSA, didn't have time to grab it, employees assured me they'd let me back on the plane in Nashville… they were right. They pretended to check into you a bit by looking at credit cards. Might have taken me 2 extra minutes.

Had to get a PIV for work. In speaking with TSA, they mentioned they don't actually need a driver's license or even photo ID to verify identity.

It may take a bit, but he mentioned they have multiple others ways to verify a person's identity. She should be just fine.
