Le Blanc (haven't stayed at this one but have in Cabo)
Secrets Moxche/Impressions Moxche
Impressions Secrets Isla Mujeres.

If you need any assistance, I'm happy to help. Sometimes I can beat direct pricing.

Edifing - adding Xcaret Arte, especially if you like lots of activities.

We loved Secrets Akumal when we went a couple years back, but theres been a couple newer Secrets resorts open up in that vicinity since then that would be worth checking out too, based on what I've seen (Moxche, Playa Blanca Costa Mujeres). Xcaret Arte looks really nice too and would be on my shortlist if we were to do another adults only all-inclusive around there.

JMac - just curious - where do Atelier and Secrets Maroma rank on your list?

I've not stayed at Atelier but I would compare it to Excellence Playa Mujeres. Secrets Maroma, Secrets Akumal. I love the beach at Secrets Maroma. I love the vibe and all the pools at Secrets Moxche. Impressions Moxche is a step up from Moxche - with another few restaurants and higher level of service/luxury.

Don't think you can go wrong with any. I would go back to Moxche before Maroma, but it is still one of my top faves. I would def go to Atelier as well.

We went to Atelier last year and it was nice. It is very big and I think it is a better option if you are staying longer than 2-3 nights.
I like the Excellence Playa Mujeres better but the Excellence Riveria burned us last year and didn't have a room for us when we arrived.

I was at Impressions Moxche a couple of weeks ago and it was fantastic. I used points but it was such a great experience I'd consider paying cash to go. The food at the Impression restaurants is terrific. The regular side food is good but there can be long waits. I'd eat at Seaside for breakfast and dinner everyday they're open and I'd eat at Cielo for lunch. There's rarely a wait at those and the service, food, and drinks are significantly better.

A lot depends on the criteria of what the group is looking for. Does the group like more of a beach or pool resort? Are activities, spa and food important, as well as night life?
I've toured and stayed at Lablanc Cancun, Impressions Secrets Moxche, Secrets Maroma, XCaret Arte, Atelier and currently at Leblanc Los Cabos. If you have not found a travel advisor I would love to assist. My contact is in my bio.
I thought I would add a few of my pics

Just booked the new Excellence Coral (sister resort to EPM) for next summer.

Rooftop plunge pool with ocean view. Can't wait!

Does anyone have experience with the Hyatt Zilara in Cancun? We are considering it for a trip between Xmas and New Years. Recently stayed at Secrets the Vine in Cancun (also a Hyatt property) and liked it. Thanks

It is a great resort. It is closing for renovations next year. It has a really high return rate - people love it. Beach is amazing, good food and service. I've sold it quite a bit for clients.

*This is assuming you are referring to Hyatt Zilara Cancun and not Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya. They are vastly different.

I would venture to guess you will like Hyatt Zilara better than Secrets the Vine.

Love the Atelier, just a great overall luxury resort with great customer service, nice big pools and very good food.
Also, Breathless Riviera Maya is a very fun resort for adults. Great pools with ocean views, good food and a party vibe.

We stayed at Hyatt Zilara Cancun last year. Good for a shorter stay 3-4 nights. Small footprint, short drive from airport, most rooms face ocean. Food was good, entertainment was better than I had experienced from other resorts. Beach was great and water as blue as anywhere around Cancun.

Food and service are good. Beach is not ideal, and has many red flag days.

We did a few years back. I loved how quiet it was. We don't have a need of the concierge much but that was nice. It was most appreciated at breakfast when we had a quiet little restaurant away from the hyper and loud kids at the buffet.

Good to know. We are looking for quiet and to get away from the kids and general craziness. They recently remodeled the rooms and the grounds look amazing. I think we are going to try it out.

Just know that it is a big timeshare resort, so just be firm and say no.

Saw a couple of XCaret mentions, and it has SO much to offer, but the one it does not offer is a nice sandy beach. Just wanted to make sure you knew.

My favorites for adults only and all-inclusive -

Le Blanc (Cabo is favorite and then Cancun)
Sun Palace - in hotel zone in Cancun and it is often described as 'Mini Le Blanc' - same brand family
Atelier
Secrets brand - but have to be careful as there are some that are just okay compared to the others - my top choices would be Maroma, Moxche, Impressions Isla Mujeres. Playa Blanca just opened this year, I just had clients there and they said it was beautiful but still working out some kinks.
Grand Velas boutique - this is Cabo as well and is going to give Le Blanc a run for its money.

EPM continues to be a top choice - I'm excited to see their new resort Excellence Coral

Same - we just booked roof top plunge pool ocean view at Coral for our anniversary next year. So excited. I hope the speakeasy is legit and has real cocktails.

Them adding excellence club pools that are ocean view is a great addition. The EC pool at EPM left much to be desired.

Interesting. When we went (2018) we didn't get asked once to attend a presentation.

Good to know! In general, Melia and Paradisus are fairly pushy. I've heard the Melia in Cozumel have backed off. I generally never quoted those brands because of it. And don't get me wrong, most all the resorts have timeshares. Those are just bigger.
