Wife and I were supposed to go to the ritz in Dana point California tomorrow and ended up both getting sick.
Cancellation policy for the room is pretty expensive. We called and got transferred to their corporate office and they basically said no luck.
Anybody have any strategies for this? Was hoping to talk to a manager at the property and maybe try to just change the dates so they aren't losing money, but maybe I'm just naive to the world of cancelling hotel rooms.
