I went there once a little over 10 years ago. We had a group of 6. Two of us held the doors open for the others, as we opened the doors, a cloud of smoke rolled out.

They did have a no smoking section a few feet away from the rest of the casino floor, but other than a sign, there was nothing to block the smoke.

It was the smokiest place I've ever been. It drove several of us outside.

That said, I'm not a huge gambler. If you are, you may be able to ignore what I remember. I have been to Vegas 6 or 7 times and it doesn't compare to Vegas.

It's not the nicest casino but you can have fun. I think it has the biggest casino floor in the US. I did not like how you have to pay a $1 ante for every blackjack hand. If you're looking for the best casino within driving distance from TX I think Golden Nugget in Lake Charles is your best bet

Try the new Choctaw resort/casino in Durant. Higher ceilings, less smoke.

LDL next door is really nice too. When you consider them together, there is no question. That is the nicest casino spot next to Texas.

I'm a fan of Golden Nugget & L'Auberge. Great food too.

If in Oklahoma, Choctaw is really nice.

I really liked the casino, but I had no expectations going in. Went for a company retreat/meeting. We had a good time. Not much else around and the Toby Keith bar was being renovated. The ante sucks but the casino I thought was nice. I liked it better than L'Auberge as far as casino floors go.

Recently went to Choctaw in Durant for the first time. It's great - nice pool, large non-smoking casino area, plenty of restaurants, nice room.

Whoa I've never heard of an ante on blackjack hands before. I would imagine you'd be looking at 40-50 hands per hour unless its packed and slow

For the small betters, you're at a place where the odds of coming out ahead is tough.
