I think I read there's a recreation of NYC on the oasis. I wouldn't mind a week of sea on that ship or maybe the Breeze when it comes to Galveston. I wonder whether it's worth sticking with one cruise line for savings.

Went on a Carnival trip last year and had a blast. Going on the Breeze out if Galveston in August to Cayman, Cozumel, Jamaica. Can't wait!

It's not really a recreation of NYC ... there is a park area called "Central Park" but that's more due to the location than any sort of nod to NYC. It's hard to describe but a quick google image search of "Oasis Central Park" will show you... it's basically an open air mall down the middle of the ship. The upper decks have been divided so that both sides of the hallways now offer balcony rooms... one side facing the ocean, the other facing into Central Park. There's a full time horticulturalist onboard to take care of the landscaping. Pretty relaxing area of the ship and a lot quieter than the Royal Promenade 3 decks below. Most of the ship's specialty restaurants are located here and have outdoor some patio seating.
