Going to be taking a road trip this coming October and ending up at Indian Lodge for 4 nights.

Only issue is the Restaurant that is in the State Park will be closed for renovation.

So looking for eateries around the region to plan.

And go!!

Reata in Alpine

CFS at Hotel Limpia in Fort Davis

Jett's Grill at the PAISANO Hotel in Marfa.

Gage Hotel in Marathon.

+1 for the Reata in Alpine.

the restaurant at the hotel limpia is decent for a small town in the middle of nowhere. there was also a pizza place in fort davis that was not bad either.

In Alpine, the trendiest dinner option is by far Reata. Nice menu and good food.
The Saddle Club is more of a bar but they tend to have some interesting food options. Lots of drink choices but the food is hit or miss.

For lunch, you have a good selection of some really good West Texas Mexican food: Los Jalapenos is my new favorite. But Alicia's and La Casita are both good too.

Magoo's Place for breakfast.

In Marathon, the Gage Hotel has some tremendous food. The White Buffalo Bar is a very cool space and legit has one of the best burgers (top 3) I've ever had. And I've had a lot.

I would recommend Comida Futura in Marfa...but it's closing this week
