Headed to Vegas the end of May and we are trying to decide where to book rooms. We have sort of narrowed it down to the two locations because of price and location. Was wondering which hotel has the better pool? Also are their any other hotels in the same price range with a nice pool as well that I should have on the list to look into?

TIA

Flamingo has the better pool IMO. I like it's location on the strip better too.

Flamingo has the better pool scene. When looking at rooms I'd only look at the Go Rooms. While they've all been renovated, the Fab rooms were done later and more cheaply. Go Rooms are decent but the bathroom does have a sliding frosted glass door so if you're travelling with someone it could be awkward.

Haven't stayed in TI since Ruffin bought the place but the rooms were always comfortable and the beds are better than Flamingo. One thing TI has going for it is the free tram to the Mirage. Sportsbook at TI is also better than Flamingo and the food options are better at TI.

If you're basing it strictly on location & pool, the answer is Flamingo.

Flamingo pro's - big pool, hard to beat the location.
Flamingo con's - casino/rooms have gotten pretty dumpy over the past few years

TI pro's - nicer rooms than Flamingo
TI con's - meh location, if points or comp accumulation is a concern TI isn't affiliated with MGM/Caesars/Boyd/Sands

For the same price range, I would look at Monte Carlo

Monte Carlo, MGM and the Tropicana. The Tropicana has made a lot of upgrades over the past few years.

I was at the Tropicana in July and it was nicer than Flamingo or TI. The upgrades made a difference.
