Del Friscos? Are the prices similar to the Houston prices?

Have eaten at several steakhouses there ranging from $25-100 per person (tip & all), and they were all great steaks. The only difference was the atmosphere and the number of servers taking care of your table.

For me, the best buy for the $ was the Steakhouse @ Binions; most expensive - Delmonico's @ Palazzo.

Buddy of mine swears by Stripsteak at Mandalay Bay.

another vote for Craftsteak. The Kobe tasting menu is fantastic.

I liked Del Monico's, but not so much for the steak as the great service.
I really like SW Steak House at the Wynn for both steak and service...has a nice view of their waterfall area.

all very good. I was pleased with Prime. Also, Nine at The Palms has a great atmosphere, but the food is below standards.

Gotta roll with Craftsteak as well ... outstanding meal.

The Range at Harrahs, then go down to the piano bar if the twins are playing.

Went to CC Steakhouse because I was told it was a hidden gem.

I got to say I was supremely disappointed. Poor cut of meat, overcooked, etc.

1. Not sure who keeps perpetuating the rumor that the CC Steakhouse is a "hidden gem", best place in Vegas, etc. It is a subpar steakhouse in a town full of great steakhouses

2. Golden Steer is another subpar steakhouse that gets by on its supposedly "old school" rep. Do not go there either.

Thought the Range was pretty good...great view...wasn't overly impressed with the steak though...compaired to price. I'm not sure there is any "Best Steak" in Vegas...many great places and I think it might come down to your personal style, where you feel comfortable and service.
While some places like SW Steak House serve their own Beef from their own ranches, getting good beef isn't restricted to those who raise their own.
Frankly, I've gotten a good steak at 2 in the AM at casino cafe's.

Another Vegas joint where I've had a great steak is at Smith & Wollensky's. I hesitate to mention that one, because I've had mixed experiences at that chain, but the Vegas location was by far the best ...

I've always heard that the steak house in the 4 Queens was pretty good. Anybody here actually ever tried it?

But I wouldn't really consider them a 'steakhouse' per se.

Their steak portion of their menu is fairly small and I really did'nt see too many people ordering their steaks.

I had the Duck Anise Flambe and the fiance had Chilean sea bass, both great.

Craftsteak @ MGM.

Mon Ami Gabi at the Paris has the best filet mignon in town. Go early and sit outside, and enjoy the view of the Bellagio across the street.

i dunno, one of the best steaks i've ever had was at the CC Wynn, and I've been to a ton of very pricey steakhouses.

Agree with the people who liked SW at the Wynn. It was delicious, and great service too.

Cut (Puck) at the Palazzo.

Order the 140 dollar kobe sampler with the rare japanese wagyu on it.

i know it's 140 bones, but you'll never experience anything quite like it.

Dress code for Craftsteak?

nice jeans and a button down are fine for Craftsteak, as well as just about anywhere else in Vegas.
