Was traveling through on business. Tried Amerostar and a new one called Riverbend. Enjoyed Amerostar much more. Came out $10 ahead.

I had to go to Vicksburg for a work conference at the Horizon Hotel and Casino. Probably the scariest/worst trip of my life, there are shady people around there. Plus, I went to the battleground and got repeatedly stung by red wasps.

Well, didn't have the wasp problem, but while I might not call them "shady", the general gambler in Vicksburg is not exactly what I'm used to.
Scaries place I've been, with little in the way of Security and some danmed scary people is Harrah's in N.O.
That place gives me the willies. Once had two preggers...very much preggers crack hoe's following me around one night calling me "Charles"...only later I found out "Charles" is the same thing as a "John" in other cities....man, these were some scary ugly women.
Couldn't get Security to get them away from me so finally gave them a $50 Chip if they would leave me alone. Never been in a place where Security refused to to assit. Will NEVER GO BACK.

If those are bad places, how bad are the casinos in Greenville Ms ?

I am about to be there for a few weeks.

I have only driven by the casinos in Greenville and it was late at night.

Yep...don't know about Greenville myself. I like it very much down at Biloxi and Cashata (sp) over in LA is nice, althopugh quiet. But in general, I am not a fan of Miss. River casinos.
Shrevport and Lake Charles are OK, just for a quick trip to lose a little money...but don't care much about staying there more than one night.
