This team is so weird. They look like legitimate contenders against most of the good teams they've played and then they look like total crap against bottom dwellers. I don't get it.

You lose this game, you have to fire Skip immediately after or you're not a serious franchise

Seattle scores two in tenth the. Gives up a five spot. Houston will run away with this division.

Why would I be an astros fan? Because I think the rangers are rubbish and Houston is hitting their stride?

Kinda hope Oakland sweeps this weekend and we can officially turn down the lights.
Lol, not sure why you are on this thread then. And for this team, right about now is when they will go on a 8-2 streak over the next 10 games.
I grew up watching a lot of bad Ranger baseball, so giving up isn't really in my DNA. Usually by now, they were 10+ games out of playoff contention. This year, for all of their faults, they are still in the mix.

Both clubs are mid. Your incessant bleeding all over this thread does get old.

Most of these folks said the same **** in 2023. This team is in the thick of playoff hunt, even with a loss tonight. I genuinely don't understand how some of yall have not figured out how a baseball season works.

I will say this about Jansen or Higgy:
Even if their bat doesn't play, the defense (mainly throwing) will be a huge upgrade. Including last night, our catchers have consistently over thrown 2nd base and led to the other team scoring runs. A few weeks ago, I can't remember who we were playing, but we had multiple errant throws in a series that led to runs.
I need to go back and look at the throw to third last night. I dont remember, but how did Zeke play it? Did he hold the bag and not make the catch on a bad throw? Or did he come off the bag and not make the catch on a bad throw? Either way, Diaz's throws, and defense in general, are lacking. Wynns is as bad or worse. I think Jansen and/or Higgy would be a massive improvement behind the plate.
