He could've raided the cupboard trying desperately to do enough to save his job, but he knew it would take seven new guys to fix this dead pile of ass and he told Chandler Rome he had to think of the future whether or not he was going to be part of it. He knew giving up the only four prospects worth anything in the system wouldn't make this team a serious one, so he didn't. That's worth something.

Going 11-1 and into first place was fun but in the end it was the worst possible thing to happen. False hope followed by limp dick moves at he deadline. The only, remote positive is we didn't give up any of the meager assets we have in the farm. The unfortunate part is a new manger and GM won't completely solve the problem.
