Frustrating is us not being able to hit a scrub that has pitched a total of 4 innings the last 3 months and we let him get through 6 no problem
I think it's a combination of ABS, trying to stay away from barrels, but to an extreme degree, and the talent not always being there. For a long time we were high fastball and spin down, but maybe that doesn't work as well when the league swing rate is down. We need more pitches on the edge, or they start on the plate and then break. Too many uncompetitive pitches.
