Is there a stat for one-pitch relief appearances from the hitter's perspective? I feel like Yanier would lead that stat by far.

The whole offense looks so much better with the new patient approach and it's paying huge dividends so far….and then Yainer comes up and swings at first pitch….from a brand new reliever

Watching our hitters be patient and see results from it will hopefully encourage more guys to do it. But I am still taking the under if the O/U on pitches seen in Diaz's next AB is 2.5.

The way this team is playing doesn't look like anything that's not sustainable like our hot streak last season.

It's being patient, hitting good pitches or taking a walk. It's base hits with 2 outs and RISP. It's making teams pay for mistakes.

This is just all around good baseball which is what is promising.
