With ESock no seat in foul territory upper decks/Crawford is safe, but Yordan covers the RF/gap side that he can't get to.

This is so on the money that I'm going to be livid if he is still on the team in two weeks. Someone will overpay his value for a playoff push, and there's no guarantee he maintains that value into the winter meetings. If you want the top haul you can get for him, it's right now.

By the time Paredes and Pena would be walking, we would have our two best prospects possible ready. I think that's the gist of what they are getting at, though I wouldn't call it a glut by any means.

Having a bunch of guys get called up but most of them suck isn't that great. Right now the Space Cowboys have 15 guys on the roster that have been with the Astros at some point in the last 2 seasons, including an Opening Day starter. That's not what Triple A should be for.

For whatever reason, I always think of Sugar Land as the AAAA guys who can't make it at the big league level and Corpus as the place for the next crop of young talent.

That definitely seems accurate. I don't think the Astros farm system is unique in that department. AAA is generally for short-term veteran fill-ins during the season with major league experience.
