Worst Astros team in a dozen seasons I'd say.

I hate to say this because he has been my favorite Astro for some time but had they pinch hit for Altuve' in B10 they likely win the game.

I think it's time to unload and reload with a 2028 or 2029 timeline to return to contention

It makes me sad I have very little desire to watch this team. I cant imagine giving MLB too much focus once football season rolls around.

Knowing what is about to happen with the labor stoppage, it could be a long haul without baseball. It was a good run for Dynastros but that dynasty is only a memory now

I just think at this point the problem starts and ends with Crane. We can and should fire the manager but the personnel on this team isn't going to allow a new manager to do much. Crane needs to fire Dana and hire a replacement and then let him run it. Unfortunately I think he's damaged his reputation enough that we're not going to be getting the top front office talent. Which is probably why we have Dana in the first place

Phillies are 41-21 since they fired their manager and Boston is 36-31. I am willing to find out what Omar can do with this group. We know Espada can't win with them, lets let Omar try.

Should've been done months ago. Our FO sat on their hands and prayed this team would magically figure it out on their own. No FA signings. No managerial change. No meaningful trade. Obvious roster problems.

And then they still have the audacity to talk about buying while we aren't even .500.

I could be misunderstanding you, but didn't Omar manage for Venezuela in the WBC?

Can someone explain to me how we lost 4-2 to a team that struck out 15 times, had 5 total hits and 1 XBH in 11 innings?

Good thing about being in places with no cell service is you do not need to get aggravated pitch by pitch.

Pretty much, some of the worst situational baseball you'll see that turned what should have been a 3-2 win into a 4-2 loss.

Also Yordan almost walked it off but the ball bounced over the wall for a ground rule double with a runner on first who maybe could have scored.

No, I swapped guys in my head. Watching TDF and trying to read Texags and just brain farted. Message is the same though. You know Espada is not the guy. So what is the downside to giving Omar a chance?

He's 31. You could find 50 AAA guys under 30 with better stats that teams would basically give you for a 12 pack of lone star. He's purely break in case of emergence. And by emergency I don't mean your team is scuffling to get to .500, I mean your entire infield was in a plane crash. If his last name wasn't Biggio no one would even consider this guy as an option.

I'm afraid that we've only seen the tip of "bad". There have been opportunities to turn this ship around but those opportunities have come & gone. Ignored.
