The way this 2-4 road trip unfolded should spell the end for him. This game and the opening game of the Nationals series were wins if he wasn't an idiot

They couldn't even get us to football season, the bums.

But this is on the coaches and front office, not the players. I don't blame an average-at-best roster to play more than... close to average. I would LOVE for someone to grill Dana Brown about his genius outfield and pitching moves this season. Lambert is saving him from posting a ridiculously embarrassing goose egg.

There are so many games over the last 3 seasons that you can almost entirely chalk up to Espada.

It's safe to say that when the Astros fire him, unless he claims an interim role somewhere else, he has ZERO chance of being hired by another organization for a manager role.

Can anyone honestly say that Brad Mills/Cecil Cooper/Jimy Williams would've been worse over the last 3 seasons with this roster than Espada has been?

That was some of the worst managing I have seen…. Espada continues to surprise me with his lack of awareness and skill.

I certainly don't know if it would have anything to do with it,
But didn't we warm Hader last night without using him?

I thought for sure that Joe would bring in Santa to pitch the eighth inning. But no, our brilliant manager decides to play with fire by letting King pitch another inning. And then not deciding to walk Nimmo intentionally to set up a force at home in the bottom of the ninth is another head scratcher.
In my book those are two fireable offenses by a major league manager.

King got rocked by the Rangers 2 games ago. And you let him go multiples there?!? What's wrong with a 4 out save from hader? What's wrong with anyone taking the 8th other than King?

Also runner on 1st with 0 outs in the 9th with yordon on deck. Why not bunt the runner to second? Making them walk yordon and having to pitch to parades who sees more pitches than most batters per play appearance.

I am at a loss for words.
