I don't dislike them. Think they'll look better on the field. Want to see what the hats look like too

We had one of the better CC jerseys and went to a very nondescript one.
That doesn't do much for me. But it could have been worse. The the old ones, it helps to have the knickers and socks. For the guys that wear full length pants this will be bland beyond bland.

Yes, the jersey was good… but (in my opinion) the blue pants kinda sucked, and took away from the whole look. Glad we're shifting away from the all blue look.

There's a book called Miracle Man where he apparently said he didn't use heavy weights. Bench tops 125-225 (but I think that is above his body weight). His trainer was very consistent about no bulking and doing pitcher specific lifts (mostly legs and core). All this from Grok by the way!

Hat is cool for sure. White hat with navy brim. Might have to get one of those.

The only standout part to me is that they say Stros - that's pretty cool… other than that I agree with others that they aren't bad, they're just kind of lame. Will wait to see how they look in person, but def a letdown so far.

I thought it was an odd coincidence that all these leaks all come out the day after we get a tease and a launch date.

For the record I don't like them because they're not very unique. This is basically a new color 90s throwback.
Our previous City Connect unis had a completely new look with their own emblems and insignia. They were completely original.

At the risk of getting skewered, I don't understand the intense interest in the alt jerseys. Is it because you want to buy one or you want the Astros to look cool on the field or just bored because it's spring training?
Not trying to belittle anyone, I guess I'm just fascinated by how much talk there is over fonts and colors of a jersey.

In the minority here, but I like them. Baseball pants should only come in two colors - white or gray.
It's keeping my attention away from the thought of watching a full season of Meyers, McCormick, and Dubon all getting regular playing time.
True but the blue pants were an abomination. It looked like a bad little league team that moms designed the uniforms or a beer league softball team. I loved the jersey though

I just personally like uniforms and mixed combinations. But there are rules that should be followed and many city connects break them. Like no colored pants unless it's white/grey/off white or a very rare occasion some light blues fit
But dark colors should never be on pants.
The accessories to this jersey are going to enhance the overall look. The gloves we saw in the video, the socks on the Tuve bobblehead, the drifit compression sleeves, the hat. I think once it is all put together itll look sharp.
They hit a home run on the first city connect. This is a Martin Maldonado legging out a double and barely making it before getting tagged. Will definitely be buying some merch though, so mission accomplished.
