If you or anyone else is looking we have a mens league out west of houston (New Ulm, La Grange, Weimer, etc) that plays on Sundays starting around the end of May. Normally always looking for extra players. Pretty Competitive. Recent High School grads, current college players, many former college and professionals from the area play. Ages range from 18-40+.

He wanted to see if Bregman was going to resign with us and wanted to see if the Tucker trade was the beginning of a large scale rebuild.

That's odd. I've had back problems since I was 15, and I prefer a soft mattress.

Time to start turning the crank on another trade..

How long before Jonny Singleton breaks the Daikin Park *big screen.

Last year when Walker went down for a month Arizona traded for Josh Bell which softened the blow. This isn't good if he's out that long.

Is that a Dana talking to the public level estimate, or an honest estimate from your source? Seems like any of the estimates the club is willing to talk to the public about regarding injuries have been wildly optimistic and usually a minimum of a month ahead of an actual return.

Heard from a second source who says 6 weeks minimum

I liked the Walker signing. He brings a professionalism and leadership quality that this team needs with Bregman gone. He also brings great defense and a consistent bat.

However, we can find production at first base with a Dezenzo - Singleton - Caratini - Dubon 1-2 (3-4?) punch. If deployed correctly, we should be equally good offensively.

Dezenzo's sample was too small in the bigs to really know. But based on the small sample & minor league #s he's a reverse splits player.

I think we can weather this storm. However, I going to continue to say this. We need another move to help this team go from good to very good. I think the play is at 3B or 2B. Lots of solid options out there.
