"The question always is who’s going to hit second and third and Paredes and Alvarez, both of those guys are capable of hitting two or three. I’m just looking to see what’s the better flow, what works best, trying to give our best hitters… https://t.co/DdZZ3nokJ2

Listening to MLB radio. They said yesterday that Grosse Tete up in Arlington has an oblique strain. That could be three weeks or 3 months.

I know that's probably sarcasm but if he does end up going on the shelf for a long period of time then it might be really tough sledding. We're going to depend on him ALOT

Worth noting that Christian Walker had a left oblique injury last season that kept him on the IL for more than a month https://t.co/13IZ7P6Dtd

Is it even possible to amputate an oblique? Or will they just replace it TJ style?EastCoastAgNc said:Worth noting that Christian Walker had a left oblique injury last season that kept him on the IL for more than a month https://t.co/13IZ7P6Dtd

This is how I tore my ACL in Beer League softball 30 years ago -- sprinkler head in CF. Loud pop they heard all the way in the dugout. 8/10 pain for a moment then it just sorta hurt. Finished the game at 1B but swinging wasn't much fun.Farmer1906 said:Just your usual spring training injury pic.twitter.com/bTkxAbc3v0

Beer league softball is dangerous. I broke my tibia, fibula and dislocated my ankle a few years back.
The same guy who told me "Don't look at it but it's not that bad" walked away and puked everywhere.
Meh... that just sounds like "lower leg discomfort"texasaggie2015 said:

The first Cardinals' hitter, Michael Siani, flied out to Jose Altuve in left field to start the game. Altuve had to drift back a few step for the catch, and then exchanged some smiles with his teammates in the bullpen behind the wall.
