The teams will still take a haircut on the money being paid to them for all rights , but packaging them up gives mlb tremendous negotiating leverage. Biggest issue will undoubtedly be how the rights fees generated by all combined games get split. If equally, the KCs and cincinnatis of the world win. If proportional to actual viewership, the Yankees,, Red Sox, Cubs and Dodgers just get richer. Interesting times.

MLB could offer an all inclusive package in which you select your primary team.

Teams revenue share equally up to a certain amount. Above that threshold, revenue shared by % of viewership

It had more to do with uncertainty around the direction of the organization after the Tucker trade.

The trade was near the finish line and Arenado had agreed to waive his NTC until the Tucker trade happened. That's when he changed his mind.

From two different connections: Arenado would be an Astro if they had traded for him before the Tucker trade.
