I, too, hope we are looking for one last bat upgrade.

But if not, I would think we would be better off with Altuve at 2B and giving DeZenzo ABs in LF that giving Dubon an excess of ABs. So far, DeZenzo has showed reverse splits, so that may also help our profile against RHP given our shortage of LH bats.

I also think we need to platoon Gamel in RF against RHP, but do so at the expense of Meyers playing time if Chas sees a rebound in performance. Meyers may be the better glove, but Chas is no slouch in CF and I much rather see him get a full complement of ABs than Meyers given the current makeup of the bottom of the order.

They are but they would have to give up a lot for a real difference maker who isn't a one year rental

I still wish we could find a way to add Cedric Mullins in CF as part of a LH platoon. In his walk year, it should reduce his price and Baltimore has a traffic jam of OF.

The only problem is I don't know what they would want from us outside of Framber.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say both chas and jake surprise us and have decent years at the plate

Yea he's a truly awful defender. There's a reason he should be replaced with Bregman. I think his career dWAR is -62 or something.
