This article says the Astros were going to pay the majority of his salary. Who knows what's true.

Oh, I agree. That's why I said may end up being the answer. I just think we need much more help in the OF. Singleton, Caratini, and Dezenzo (and occasionally Diaz) can cover 1B next season. I'm having nightmares with Meyers, Chas and Dubon as our 3 OFers....Ag_07 said:

Give me 2 of Teoscar, Santander, Profar, and Kepler. If It turns out Profar and Kepler, then you should have the luxury of going after Walker. This is all assuming we can trade Presley and 1 of McCormick or Meyers.
Can confirm via sources that Alex Bregman’s market IS heating up. But it’s “on the back burner” and “has the lid on” which “technically means it’s still receiving some heat” even though the heat is “more simmer-ish than boil-ish”.
