Yeah that's no bueno. Brunt force to side of the neck from that angle. Lucky he didn't break it.Farmer1906 said:

Would like y'all's thoughts on this. I absolutely love listening to TK and Blum but I would love an option to just bask in the ambiance of a baseball game. The Royals-Tigers once featured a game with no play-by-play or color commentary. Just the natural sounds and ambiance of the game and ballpark. pic.twitter.com/10ZurauIZU

If our opening day rotation are these 5 guys,
- Valdez
- Brown
- Blanco
- Arrighetti
- Wesneski
Then who are our relief pitchers, and what role?
Closer: Hader
High Leverage: Abreu, Scott
Medium/Low Leverage: Ort, Montero
Lefty Spacialist: Soursa, King
Multi Inning: Whitley
I want to pick up one more player to replace Montero. This bullpen can be sneaky good, especially if reinforcements (Garica, Arrighetti or Wesneski, UFA signing) come.

I got 74/75 because I forgot Biggio hit 26 one year. To be fair, I also typed in the names of probably 150 people (other than the one I missed)tjack16 said:Farmer1906 said:

65/75 didn't miss any post 1995
My Astros knowledge pre-1995 is iffy at best

Astros owner Jim Crane comments on Jose Altuve moving to left field.
Crane says he tells manager Joe Espada and GM Dana Brown there are 3 things in baseball… “PITCHING, PITCHING and PITCHING.”

He definitely got into the realm of "just stand there" that my friends and I previously prescribed for the likes of Martin Maldonado, and 20 years ago, Brad AusmusiBrad said:Farmer1906 said:

Given the way Abreu finished 2023 and hit last spring, it was reasonable to expect him to be serviceable last season; not all-time bad.
