I'm not sure why anyone expects uniformity on this. Everyone appreciates his time as an Astro, even with the slow starts. He was great during the greatest window in team history. Good for him and thanks for the memories, BUT he's now wearing another jersey.

I would also keep in mind that when guys like Correa, springer and Bregman played for the Astros… boos seemed to fuel them. Shirts were even made that said "boo louder"

I remember the 2023 ALDS when Correa got booed at Minute Maid and he had like 5 RBI in that game 2 for Minnesota

Any of y'all happen to catch the Ags on TV today? Morton pitched the last couple innings and Boomer on color just casually dropped his spin rate over 3000 multiple times.

3050, 3100. Boomer kinda played ignorant claiming he didn't see much data like that when he played. And honestly I don't know college numbers because they've not been publicized like MLB but that would be elite even in MLB. I know the balls and seams are different. Anyone have some insight here?

As far as the ball difference I am not sure about the seams. I do know MLB balls are usually hotter.

It sure looks like StL wants to cut salary and the no trade clause is making it impossible. Trade partners he's willing to accept know it and are playing hardball.

He's got them pinched.

Again, I don't think we need him. It's a lot of money for a decent risk and it's not directly at a position of need.

I didn't realize how much of Arenado's money was deferred. He's paid $2million annually from 2022 to 2031 and $3million annually from 2032 to 2050. How is that impacted if he's traded? Also, Colorado paid a large part of his salary just to move him.

I think Boston actually might've had the best off-season of anybody… They could easily be in the top three favorites for the AL pennant this year

Crochet and Buehler were huge additions. That's the big difference to me is they really helped their pitching staff.

Baltimore has the talent, but they haven't put together yet in the postseason and they really didn't do much to get better this off-season
