Since the All Star Break, Bobby Witt, Jr. is 37 for 77. That's a .481 average. He has a .518 OBP. He's hit six HRs and is slugging .844. Makes an OPS of 1.362.

Plus they have Wacha and are just a hell of a lot of fun to watch. The opposite of the Cardinals this season (I have Cardinals tickets tonight though).

Bobby Witt Jr. is already pretty close to the Griffey Jr. threshold of modern fans not realizing his dad also played because the son is so damn good. Assuming the Royals make the post-season, he's going to approach his dad's total number of post-season appearances in the first series (Dad made it to 4 playoff games)

Judge will win the MVP going away but that shouldn't tar what Witt Jr. is doing this season.
