Why was Gray pulled after only 72 pitches? Were they starting to barrel more balls?

Yeah, was going from memory. Looked it up after posting and realized I was wrong.
One thought about Gray... he may only have thrown 72 PC, but was through 6.0 IP. So far, Game Time is 1:55 min through 7 1/2 Innings., if it started at 3:05. Those were some quick innings with little breaks between. Wonder if that played into it.
Zerpa got a live fast ball. Semien and Seager get ahold of two of them.

I'm not quite sure. I don't think there's a way he makes it as a starter, obviously, but maybe he could be a backup or a replacement when some of them for sure opt out. He's had a great season and deserves some recognition though.bmac_aggie18 said:

Awesome that we are winning but it would be nice if the "dominant" Orioles can win a game against Houston.
Langford starting to get hot and hit for power. Once Jung is back we should be rolling offensively. Put Jung in the 3 spot and Langford at cleanup. Move Garcia down the lineup till he heats up again.
Fun W today. Getting this series win was a must heading into a brutal road trip (Brewers/ O's) to close the month of June. A sweep would be awesome. If we can get to .500 before the 4th, this team is set up for a big 2nd half as the schedule and health of the roster is setting up nice for us.

I know it would never happen (said that) but I'd like to see it more once Jung comes back. Smith has more range and is just better defensively than Seager. Would also help keep Seager fresh and healthy for the 2nd half.
Good point on keeping Seager fresh. That's the most important thing.
