Not that Baltimore would ever trade him, but if they wanted to this season, would this bad of a showing in the bigs hurt his value?

He is 20.144, so I don't think it would hurt his value.

They were playing him at 2B, which was dumb when all he has played is SS.

They said they sent him down to start the season in order to get some time at 2B. They played him 8 G at 2B and 2 at SS. The problem they had was that in order for him to get the draft pick tied to him, he had to get moved up.

With Cowser, I'm not sure they aren't covered in the Top3. It'll depend on Langford and more so...Carter. Abreu with Boston may make it 4.

Baltimore could now just stash him in the minors all season, if they need/want to.

I was pretty surprised at just how putrid Jackson has been so far. I didn't think he would light it up, as evidenced by our own rookies (it's really hard), but his numbers would suggest he might in fact need another full year in the minors. The interesting thing for Jackson now has to do with Gunner Henderson becoming a superstar. He's pretty much locked into SS, and they still have a surplus of infielders, so would the Orioles be willing to dangle him in some trades for another real superstar pitcher? I doubt it, but it's interesting because of what Henderson has become and just how deep they are in the minors.

I'm with you. I just don't know where you put him. Can't unseat Henderson even though he played 3B last year, but 3B this year is Jordan Westburg who is slashing .310 / .370 / .571 so far and yeah he ain't moving.

Elther Holliday will have to learn and be comfy playing 2B or he seems like trade bait.

Jackson Holliday will be fine at 2B. His trade value is still untouchable.
