Heaney is really solid when he can locate that fastball just above the zone late in counts. It's so frustrating because he will flash it and then he can't get it up enough and it is right in the sweet spot for the hitter.

Lowe was all over that one and right at the 2B...

Really like this outing by Winn. Locating the slider away to righties and keeping the fastball either on the outer black or getting it far inside enough to cause a swing and miss.

Hell to the yeah Cole Winn. We can work with this!

Don't lose site of the fact Heaney is our Innings guy. He just went 6.0 IP in 79 PC. Sure, he gave up 2HRs for 4 ERs... but he turns the game over to the BP with us in position to win the game.

Lance Lynn got traded last year with a 6.47 ERA in 21GS

I really though they would let him try to get the 7th also, given the PC under 80. His last pitch of the 6th probably caught too much of the plate and was hit a little too hard for Bochy's liking.
