Let's remember we signed Lorenzen for $4.5M on a 1yr deal. I know expectations are high, but let's make sure we don't have unrealistic expectations. Like many, I'm excited to see him get a GS in Det.

Heaney accepted his $13M option for 2024. At 4.2 IP/GS in '23, there was probably enough caution by him to not want to test the FA market, less he end up like Lorenzen.

Martin Perez signed early with Pitt for $8M. He is at 1.89 ERA. Now in the NL, his ERA is likely to balloon as the season goes on, but it is a data point.

Bradford's back is disappointing, but gives us an opportunity to see Lorenzen. A&M's T&F coach has said elite athletes are pushing their bodies to do things they aren't supposed to do and injuries are inevitable. Hopefully this is just a break. Concern is that it is persistent. Thankfully, we have a number of guys in depth.

Winn is a complete surprise. Exciting time for him. Someone posted that they were letting him air-it-out in the minors. A Tepid tweet? We're far enough into the season that cycling some guys to see where they are and what they have is an opportunity. We have mostly multi-inning guys like Urena, Pruitt, and now Winn.

The multi-inning cycle should hopefully preserve Kirby, Robertson, and Latz. We need to see Sborz recover and Leclerc get back on track.

The Offense needs to start being more consistent.

I'm surprised that Winn got the nod over Hernandez. Maybe that means Hernandez just isn't ready, or Winn has been more impressive. Regardless, I'd take either of them over G Anderson right now.

On Robertson, he's been really good so far. Given his age, I'm a little concerned he may be getting used too much and will wear down. Hopefully some of the others will step up and he won't have to be used quite as much. But at the moment, he and Yates are the ones I trust the most in late innings right now.

Apparently we're the only team that can't beat the tar out of Houston this year.

Gonna have to put some runs up today. Eovaldi has struggled over his career vs the top of this Houston line up.

They're working the PC up. Y'all act like Javier isn't a good pitcher. His fastball/ change up combo is nasty. Just keep putting together lengthy at bats and the hits will come later.

He is a good pitcher, but there's a difference between working counts and taking pitches that should be into orbit. Be ready to hit.

Watching this offense lately. Woof.

It almost seems like the league is afraid of him or something. He got 5 balls in the last at bat and 1 of them was called a strike.

The Rangers might come back and win it, but I'll be watching the Masters when they do. It's tough to watch bad baseball, but much more worse than it's against the Astros. I have better things to do than this.
