I wouldn't be surprised if we see Rocker back on the mound by the end of May. He was already throwing from raised surfaces during spring training. I think you have to give him a chance to be a starter though. We need starters in the near future and we can't keep paying for them, so you've got to give your guys you drafted as starters a chance to develop into those guys. He's also been developing a third pitch, so that would be great.

That would be good if he can develop another viable pitch. Otherwise his path is going to be a RP. Not that RP is a bad thing.... we need those too! Just get healthy first and lets see what he has. Not expecting him at the mlb level until midway through 2025 at the earliest. He needs more IP against professional hitters.
