Lorenzen getting stretched out, up to 89 pitches. Probably needs another outing to sharpen up more based on the stats. This is basically his spring training.Michael Lorenzen pitched 4.2 innings tonight for Round Rock, let up four runs on six hits and five walks. He struck out six.

Keep Dunning in that rotation and move Gray to the pen and focus on two pitches as a reliever. Dude was nails in the playoffs when he didn't try to throw the kitchen sink at people.

We are in the middle of 17 straight days without an off day. Go 6 man rotation once or twice and figure out who heads to the pen in a few weeks.

Would be ideal but how many teams have 6 viable MLB starting pitchers? Most teams struggle to even have 4 that give you a chance to win most nights. Also gotta factor in performance based contracts and guys like Cole Hamels who threw a fit at the thought of it.
