Again, we very much have a hitting approach problem. Been that way all season, and we all could see how that wouldn't play in the playoffs.

You can say what you want about making it to ALCS game 7 last year but let's be honest… this was back to back very flawed teams.
90-72
88-73
We got a very favorable ALDS matchup last year and then lost an ALCS we should have won. This year we had to scratch and claw our way to winning the clearly worst division in baseball.
Something changed after the 2022 World Series and I don't know what it is.

Agree. Glad to lose to Detroit and Hinch rather than some of the other typical media-darling teams.f1ghtintexasaggie said:
I'm happy for Hinch. If we had to go down, I'm glad it was to him. Wish Crane would've had a backbone to stand by him when the SHTF.
Starting pitching wasn't the problem. Tha bats were the problem.Ghost of Bisbee said:

kind of like the Atlanta Braves dynastyBeaumontAg05 said:
End of the run is realtive to your view of things. Competing for a WS, likely coming to and end. A couple more seasons of trying to make the playoffs and win the division, still in play.

At least now we have the Texans huh?
Allost as predictable as Pressly choking the season away.Aggie8587 said:Right on cue: halfway there and on pace for 15 pitchesAggie8587 said:
Haven't hit a grand slam all year
Haven't won a game when trailing after 8 all year
Lead the league in 1-2-3 innings when trailing in crunch time
6 up, 6 down on 15 pitches to end the season incoming
He would have thrown 18 shutout inningsjkag89 said:Starting pitching wasn't the problem. Tha bats were the problem.Ghost of Bisbee said:
