Maybe Dana (or more likely Crane and Bagwell) have a different opinion, but I can't see how he's an Astro next year. No way I'm giving him Matt Chapman money (6 years, $25 mil per, total $150 mil). And to Alex's credit, he should absolutely seek that/more based on that recent deal.

Man the old days, when Altuve, Correa, and Bregman were all in their prime together in the infield. I'll be talking about how amazing and fun that group was together when I'm on my death bed. Houston and I both needed that distraction from life at that time.

ETA: Agree with a poster who a few weeks ago said they go back and forth between putting a ring on Bregs and paying up or just dumping him entirely.
