So if the playoffs started today who is your starting pitchers? For me it has to be:

Obese
Diesel
JV
Spaghetti
Kuchi

I would like to move Spaghetti up further, maybe above JV but I have to see how JV comes back from his IL stint. Watching Spaghetti completely shut down one of the best offenses in baseball makes me feel really good about our staff in the post season

then for game 4 base it on matchup. I'd lean Arighetti though at their current paces

If JV does ok and lengthens his outings through September, I'd go

Kuchi (depending on days between games, etc.)

Move Spaghetti and Blanco to the bullpen

Kikuchi feels like the best option as the long relief/save the day guy if any of the aforementioned flounders early. The one guy I feel like won't be able to figure out the quick transition from starter to long relief playoff guy is Spaghetti, so I guess HB would be the next choice for that role imo.

Yeah the "fiercely competitive division" earned an eye roll from me. This was the worst division in baseball for most of the season.

I like this, but my fear is that when HB struggles it is early in games. I don't know what his confidence would do if he struggles out of the gate in game 1. For that reason only I say Framber to start game 1.

As a kid I loved to watch "This Week in Baseball" after my Saturday morning cartoons were over and before I bolted to play outside all day. My old man and I would watch it together. Theme song was very solid too
