Just counting save % seems like looking at just W/L record back in the day rather than how well the pitcher actually has pitched.dcaggie04 said:
Hader has a 96% save rate (26 saves / 27 save opportunities). Only two pitchers with at least 10 saves have higher percentage: Kirby Yates (21 out of 21) and Chad Green (12 out of 12).
He's 5th in saves. Everyone in front of him has at least 3 blown save each.
I've seen an interesting theory on that. Kukuchi and Bregman share an agent- Scott Boras. The theory is that Boras is the impetus behind the claims that Bregman is a pitcher whisperer._veeyah_ said:
And by Josh Miller you mean Alex Bregman right? Hehe

Astros say : 3B Alex Bregman is out of the lineup today due to some swelling in the back of his right elbow.

I asked about it the other day without knowing whether the agent was the same or not. Hunter Brown is the other one who I think mentioned Bregman, and I don't think he is a Boras client. So probably not some nefarious plot to up his profile as a crafty veteran._veeyah_ said:
Hahah yea I don't know if it was you that posted it on here before or somebody else, he does go up to the mounds when the catcher has a conversations with the pitcher too.
Is he in hospice care yet? Do we send salsa in lieu of flowers?Farmer1906 said:Astros say : 3B Alex Bregman is out of the lineup today due to some swelling in the back of his right elbow.

Kikuchi has been known to follow a strict pattern of sleep. Prior to every start, he reportedly sleeps between 13 and 14 hours.

Josh Hader has an ERA+ of 116 and a 3.48 ERA this season.Ag_07 said:
The Astros could have Mariano Riviera out there closing games and people would be unhappy.

Why? If it was bad he would be going in for imaging, etc and not talking to the media today

If Chas, Meyers, and Dubon are in the Lineup again I might get an ulcer.
Astros third baseman Alex Bregman said he slept with his arm wrong a few days ago and doesn’t want to play through it anymore. He expects to miss the weekend but said it’s not a long term injury.

Great, now it's not just our pitchers, but our pitching coaches as well.
Luis Garcia is still not throwing.
