Yep, five years of service and three options are the limits. Chas is in his fourth year, and was not listed during spring training as being out of options (Bielak, Dubon, and Singleton were on that list).

So, I think it would be possible if the Astros wanted to go that route. They may be out of 40-man space, though, depending on who they would call up in his place.
