2026 I believe but that could be outdated

If he performs well in AAA to finish the year (he was called up a few days ago) I imagine he'll make the team next year. With his speed, he may actually be called up later this year if he finds a groove in Sugar Land.

If he's going to get a look next year, or possibly this year, I can see why he's the gap. Crane will probably force Dana to go ahead with it though.

Just do it Dana. If it's Melton that gets Yandy then do it.
Melton hasn't proven anything yet but Diaz is solid.

If we can't swing a deal for Diaz go after the cheaper option in Canha.

I know Dana likes Melton but I'm not seeing much that gives me hope. I'd rather shop him to whoever thinks he's a 30/30 guy.

Cole has limitations with his K rate but he's elite defensively in CF with power so that alone gives him value even with no hit tool. He's maybe Jose Siri without the shenanigans.

Whitcomb and Dezenzo are the most interesting ones to me. Dezenzo hits the ball really hard. It hasn't completed translated to game power so he feels like a tweak or two away from being an impact bat. Whitcomb has consistently shown game power with a k rate around 20%. That's hard to find.
